1, why the lithium battery will be in a dormant state?

Lithium batteries are in a dormant state mainly because the lithium battery protection board detects battery problems, in order to prevent damage or even danger, the battery will automatically shut down for safety.

Common situations are:

A, over-discharge: when the battery is over-discharged or put into a very low power, lithium battery voltage is likely to be lower than the minimum voltage threshold set by the lithium battery protection board, in order to be safe, the battery will automatically cut off the power output, so that the battery is dormant;

B, overcharging: when overcharging, the internal temperature of the battery will rise, the internal pressure increases, in order to be safe, the battery will automatically cut off the power supply charging, making the battery into a dormant state;

C. High-temperature environment: high-temperature environment will make the chemical reaction inside the lithium battery will accelerate, and even destroy the chemical balance, affecting the stability of the battery, performance, capacity decline and life, and ultimately make the battery into a dormant state;

D, low-temperature environment: due to the low temperature, the chemical reaction activity of lithium battery is reduced, destroying the chemical balance, affecting the stability of the battery, performance, capacity, safety, and ultimately make the battery into a dormant state;

 2、How to wake up the lithium battery

A, how is the long-term placement or high temperature affected lithium batteries, need to be placed in a low-temperature dry environment at about 5 ° for about 30 minutes, and then naturally return to the temperature, and then charging;

B. If the battery still has power, it needs to be discharged and used continuously until it stops, and then recharged after the power is cut off;

C. Use the fast charger to charge it, and when the voltage rises, use the original charger to charge it;

After waking up, 3-5 normal cycles of charging and discharging can make the lithium battery back to normal performance.

If the above methods can not wake up the battery, you need to find a professional or use professional tools to wake up.

 3、How to prevent the lithium battery from hibernating again?

A. Normal charging and discharging use: avoid overcharging and discharging, the battery power is best kept between 20% and 80%;

B. Avoid long-term inactivity: in the case of long-term non-use, it should be placed in a room temperature, dry environment, and at the same time, it should be regularly charged and discharged;

C. Avoid high and low temperatures: do not place in extreme high-end, low-temperature environment for a long time;

D, avoid intense extrusion, collision: intense extrusion, collision, it is easy to destroy the stability of the battery, and even cause safety accidents;

It is recommended to regularly check the battery's actual capacity, voltage, whether the appearance of bulging, leakage, etc. If there is any abnormality, stop using it, and if it is a more important battery in time, please ask professionals to maintain it.
